That time when everything was coming up roses (and coloured rose): the 80s. As sci-fi reflects our current vision of the future, this vision shifts as time goes by. As with every decade, some masterpieces came out of it, and some bigfooted clunkers. We take a look at the direct result of big hair, big makeup and big shoulders: cute aliens, cute robots, cute puppets.
